Miranda - what an interesting concept, would love to read it from that angle. Great thinking!

Jonathan - the theme is the general message of the story, the moral, what you walk away with...ie, never give up, love is eternal, friends are like family, etc....GOOGLE - theme in elements of fiction and see what it comes up with...
